THE VISION
PROBLEM SOLVED CONSULTING intends to be the premier provider of Technical, Startup, Staff Development and Retraining support to small and medium sized businesses and social service provider agencies by providing agencies and organizations with unique and implementable solutions for personnel and workflow. ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Pamela Joshua has nearly 25 years experience working with HIV/AIDS programs and fifteen years of Joint Commission preparation experience. She formerly managed a 300 client, grant-funded outpatient program for HIV+ substance abusers. Pamela currently conducts groups for women, substance abusers and smokers.
Pamela is the creator and facilitator of several workshops including "Prevention for Positives" and "Let's Talk About It..." a group for persons considering disclosing their HIV status. Pamela is developing a 12 session workshop tailored for women and girls called "Operation: Better Me." She is an experienced group facilitator and employs motivational interviewing techniques. Pamela also did a stint as a Project Manager for her facility's move to a new one-stop services suite.
Principal Adjuncts
Not only can we tailor a solution unique to your business or agency, we can provide expertise in several areas of compliance. We have consultants that are versed in compliance standards for Joint Commission, OASAS and NYSDOH to name a few.

Working smarter not harder is the key. We have three units of expertise to assist your business, agency or organization.
STARTUP SUPPORT
The STARTUP SUPPORT unit helps indidviduals at the conceptual level. We cover the entire process from a churning idea to turning the key. We can recommend capital enhancing and cost-saving measures that will help with financial success.
This unit assists clients with establishing effective and implementable systems and protocols at the startup level. We are able to assist with developing functional job descriptions and interviewing candidates to achieve an optimal skill mix which maximizes the likelihood that you will deliver services effectiively and professionally. Startup support is aavailable at the initial or expansion phase of an organization or agency. We will also conduct GROUNDBREAKER™ for your newly hired staff.
COMPLIANCE AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
This unit assists clients with ensuring that agency policies, documentation and staffing are grant and rule compliant to ensure continued funding. We are able to complete preparatory chart reviews and front-end compliance support in anticipation of compliance and regulatory audits. We are also able to assist you with any additional preparation you may need including environmental walk-throughs. The unit is also available to write, implement and re-train staff to carry out corrective action plans.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING UNIT
Develops and helps with implementation of Corporate Action Plans. The plan allows businesses to become more "sleek." Businesses can become more productive and thereby more competitive. Using "INSIDE IN" training and philosophy approach to identify systems that don't work or don't work well. INSIDE IN has three unique components "GROUNDBREAKER™", "FOUNDATIONS™" and "STARSCRAPER™".

For a more detailed explanation, please contact us directly. The process is tailored for individual organizations and agencies. You also determine the amount of time for GROUNDBREAKER BUT IT MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 2 days and 5 employees.
Please note: for maximum effectiveness and result we recommend that you include EVERYONE in your organization if you plan to hold a Groundbreaker Workshop. While organizations and agencies may opt to separate line staff from management, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND OR ALLOW THIS FOR STARSCRAPER. We can, however, offer you staff specific breakout sessions in the context of the training.

THE 'INSIDE IN" Approach (For agencies and organizations)
Is an approach that encourages organizations and agencies to maximize the utilization of talent, knowledge and skills that are already contained in an organization. The approach is unique in that it makes the emotional connection between the work people do and how they feel about it. The approach is rooted in the highly proven concept that a high quality work product or result can often be tied to how valued employees feel by their organization and how they feel about their work. There are three levels to the "INSIDE IN" MODEL. They are detailed below.
GROUNDBREAKER™
Is an introductory workshop designed to connect staffers to the work that they do and just as importantly, to each other. Rooted in several principles of Kwanzaa it allows for ownership of the work product and how it is produced. It also fosters and encourages a positive working environment where conflicts can be resolved more readily and relationship development between management and staff can take place. Certificates are provided to participants upon completion.
FOUNDATIONS™
Is the 2nd level of the INSIDE IN approach. It is a unique set of exercises conducted in workshop form. FOUNDATIONS is designed to provide corporations and agencies a viable framework for growth that allows for maximization of organizational talent. While FOUNDATIONS is a stand alone workshop, you must complete GROUNDBREAKER first. Certificates are provided to all participants upon completion.
STARSCRAPER™
Is the final level of the INSIDE IN model. STARSCRAPER allows organizations to customize their workshop around a particular project or organizational goal. PROBLEM SOLVED CONSULTING will conduct a one or three day workshop. Workshops are tailored to our client's needs--the minimum workshop length is 7 hours (one day). Certificates are provided to participants upon completion.

Our goal is to contact you within three business days of receipt of your completed questionnaire. We will contact you by the means you specify or you can request a face-to-face meeting. We are flexible and would love to speak to you.
If you contract for services from Problem Solved Consulting we will provide hard copies of the Employee Questionnaire (referred to as the "EQ") to your staff. We will be on site at the designated time to assist with completion and to collect the forms. Please note that there is a nominal fee for on-site completion assistance but there is no fee for the collection process.
Please note: EQ COMPLETION allows for maximum personalization of GROUNDBREAKER™ AND FOUNDATIONS™ MODULES. You may opt out of EQ completion but it is not recommended to do so. EQs are not necessary for the STARSCRAPER™ MODULE.
